In fact while the theory has been around since the 80’s, its connection to blockchains and the potential for it to create serious use-cases in every day life is yet to be fully discovered.
Mina Protocol’s forthcoming smart contracts, zkApps are written in snarkyJS, a modification of Typescript and a recently published Medium article by Makalfo offers a tantalising glimpse into the future and an approach for implementing the SnarkyNet neural network in a zkApp.
