Security: Mina Phishing Scams alert

It seems every few months a similar phishing scam is targeted toward Mina Wallet Holders and this week another attempt was made. In all of the attacks the method is the same.

1: A very small amount of Mina (eg, 0.001) is transferred into a users wallet (both Clorio & Auro).
2: In the memo of the transaction there is a link to a phishing site (I am not publishing the URL here, but it is very similar to the official Mina Protocol website in both looks and the URL). Along with the URL is something like ‘Visit XYZ to collect your rewards/airdrop/bonus etc’.
3: If you go to the site it will ask you to connect your wallet and then they will try to drain it.

PLEASE DON’T VISIT ANY URL’s THAT ARE IN MEMOS FROM ANY TRANSACTION YOU RECEIVE UNLESS YOU WERE EXPECTING IT.

You can read about similar scams HERE & HERE.

If you aren’t sure about a transaction, there is an excellent community resource which is updated regularly by Carbonara with known blacklist wallet addresses. Visit https://blacklist.mina.tools.
